Ocean Star is a very responsive manoeuvrable cruising yacht with a friendly, homely feel.
Upgrades to this lovely yacht for 2022 include a brand new engine and fully renewed upholstery and furnishings throughout. She is looking sharp and purring like a kitten!
Below decks she has a cosy, compact layout. Sleeping up to 6, the accommodation on Ocean Star is divided into two double cabins, one forward and one aft, and two single settee berths in the main saloon. Storage facilities for personal belongings are available in both cabins with extra storage provided in the forepeak for those sleeping in the main saloon. The toilet is located aft on the starboard side and comes complete with shower hose and easy to clean surfaces The galley is fully equipped for cooking on your cruise with a two-burner cooker, oven, fridge box and sink. The two settees around the dining table make the most of the available space, and along with the full central heating system, create a cosy and sociable environment for relaxing in when down below. Entertainment is provided by a radio/CD player with aux lead connection.
On deck the single wheel steering and 20HP Volvo engine make Ocean Star a dream to handle in the close confines of the marina. The sail wardrobe consists of a traditional single line slab reefing mainsail with lazyjack system for easy stowage and a roller reefing genoa headsail. The ultimate set-up for easy adjustment and stowage when sailing shorthanded. Ocean Star comes equipped with all the navigational equipment you would expect. Wind, speed and depth instrumentation is located at the helm for easy viewing, and a chart plotter is located in the saloon. When you have finished sailing for the day, reaching the shore is no problem as a tender with 2.2HP outboard engine is supplied. Please note that Ocean Star is not equipped with an electric windlass.
In short, this simple, practical little yacht has all you need for a perfect sailing trip as a couple or with family & friends.
